In 2009 Sundown area where our company is situated there was a big problem with water supply, almost every week we would have a water cut from Joburg water. We then asked a few companies who are in the business of installing water backup tanks to Tender for the project. It didn’t take us long to buy Roy’s ideas. We asked him and few other companies to come and present to us, and he got the project. For the last six years we have never had a problem with our back up tanks. I can recommend Roy to anybody who wants a excellent and friendly service.
We are situated at Building 10, Greenstone Hill Office Park, Edenvale. We have been here since May 2017 and have experienced more than a dozen water outages since our move here. There have been more than 7 outages this year alone and unfortunately they can last more than 24 hours which results in an enormous amount of man hours being lost. We investigated the possibility of installing our own water tanks and after contacting a few prospective service providers we decided on Roy Cross of Raincor Irrigation as they had the most cost effective and ‘down to earth’ plan. Raincor installed two tanks of 8000 litres each about 6 weeks ago. The system was put to the test two weeks ago when we had a three day outage. It performed beyond expectations as we achieved 100% in manhours, ie no lost hours and the water system worked perfectly. We recommend Raincor as they are a very reliable service provider..
Our relationship with Roy Cross and Raincor Irrigation goes back 25 years to when the 2 boreholes on our properties at 85 (my parents) & 85A Kloof Road were drilled. Initially we used the borehole for the gardens only, but 5 years ago Roy installed a new system supplying the 2 houses on the property with borehole water. We have been off the municipal water grid since then and it has been great . We have excellent water pressure and beautiful clean water thanks to Roy’s expertise. Roy is very hands on, and has for all these years provided quick and excellent service. Due to his wealth of experience he also provides the best advice in terms of the water quality and the running of our borehole systems without problem.
